Takuma leverages more than 15 years of experience in leading a wide range of cross-border investment projects, with deep knowledge in M&A. He also owned and ran a startup for three years, providing solutions for cross-border projects in the e-commerce space.
In his current role, Takuma is responsible for managing and executing complex projects ranging from business intelligence, transactional due diligence to compliance, fraud and disputes investigations. He is also responsible for managing client relationships with both Japanese and international clients in Japan.
Prior to joining Kroll, Takuma served in various leadership roles within ORIX Corporation in Tokyo and Singapore, spearheading investment projects. Takuma is skilled in developing and executing investment strategies, including business analysis, due diligence, negotiation, post-merger integration activities, and responding to compliance and integrity issues at portfolio companies in the ASEAN market.
Some of Takuma’s notable engagements include investing his capital to own a startup to develop cross-border-related business. As a representative director, he was responsible for strategic planning, sales and after sales, finance and legal, risk management and human resource management, which more than doubled the company’s size.
Takuma received a Bachelor of Commerce from Kwansei Gakuin University.
