His expertise in BEC investigations include wire transfer fraud, spam email campaigns and intrusion vectors for larger network compromises. Michael leverages over 20 years of experience in information security and cybersecurity for clients across multiple sectors and industries.
Prior to Kroll, Michael worked with FireEye as a Principal Support Engineer, where he provided intelligence and strategic recommendations for several Fortune 100 clients. Before that, he was with Hospital Corporation of America, where he served as Cyber Threat Team Lead supporting the overall mission to protect company and patient information. Michael’s security career started with Bridgestone/Firestone as an Information Security Analyst, managing the companies’ intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) technologies for all networked and wireless systems.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in management of information systems from Aquinas College. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Network Communications Technology from Nashville State Tech College.
