Hoodle Poon

Hoddle is director of the Machinery and Equipment Valuation practice. He provides consultation and project management on multidisciplinary matters, performs plant and machinery valuations and assists in marketing and the development of client relations.

Hoddle has more than 14 years of experience in fixed asset valuation. He has been involved in numerous valuation projects for various purposes including sale, transfer, accounting, insurance, fair rental estimation, relocation cost estimation, normal useful life analysis, and initial public offering and related transactions.

Hoddle first joined American Appraisal (now Kroll ) in 1997. He has also worked for Knight Frank Petty (formerly Chesterton Petty Limited) as a plant and machinery valuer in the West Rail project office, providing valuation advice to the government and the Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC). He gave expert evidence on plant and machinery valuation matters in the Lands Tribunal for a number of cases involved in the KCRC West Rail project. Hoddle also was a valuer in the industrial service division of Chesterton Petty Limited.
