Francisco Garrido is a director in the Alternative Asset Advisory practice, based in London. He has more than 20 years of financial and investment management experience.

Francisco specializes in the analysis of business and operational risks for hedge funds, private equity funds and fund of funds. He has performed assessments on some of the largest and most complex hedge funds, private equity funds and industry counterparties and service providers, covering a wide variety of investment strategies and geographies.

Prior to joining Kroll, Francisco was a director and Head of Operational Due Diligence for Principal Global Investors. Previously, he was Head of Operational Due Diligence for Liongate Capital Management, a fund of hedge funds, and Head of Operational Due Diligence for Altitude Investments, a joint venture formed by NewFinance Capital and BBVA Asset Management.

Francisco started his career with Arthur Andersen in the Madrid office, working initially as an auditor for the largest Spanish banks and then as a consultant. He later joined BBVA Asset Management as part of the Valuation and Risks unit.

Francisco received his B.A. in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a CAIA Certificate.
